Who is responsible for your information?
Pembs Web Services is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us through our contact page, or call or text 07471 717628.
What we collect
When you make an enquiry or work with us, we may receive your name, business name, phone number, email address, website address, project requirements and the contents of messages you send. Most of this comes directly from you. If we contact a business first, we may use business contact details made public on its website, Google Business Profile, social page or a public business directory. We do not ask for more information than we reasonably need.
Why we use it
We use this information to reply to enquiries, discuss and deliver requested services, provide support, keep appropriate project and payment records, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We may also make proportionate business-to-business contact using publicly available business details. We do not sell your personal information or use an enquiry to add you to an unrelated marketing list, and you can ask us not to contact you again.
Our lawful bases
Depending on the situation, we rely on steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running or promoting the business, and compliance with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the likely effect on the people involved and do not use that basis where their rights and interests override ours.
Services that help us operate
Our website is hosted by Netlify and website enquiries may be processed through Netlify Forms. Business email is provided through Google Workspace. These providers may process limited information on our behalf to deliver their services. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to professional advisers when reasonably necessary.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where data-protection law requires it, transfers must be covered by an approved safeguard or another lawful transfer mechanism.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain necessary business records, or to deal with a continuing customer relationship. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, request a correction or deletion, ask us to restrict its use, object to processing, or request information in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis being used. Contact us using the details above and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Cookies and future changes
The current website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we later introduce analytics, advertising tools or other technology that changes how information is collected, we will update this notice and add any consent controls that are required.
Questions or concerns
Please contact us first if you have a question about how your information is handled. You also have the right to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
